Meeting of senior officials on the RISDP 2020-2030
Two days of work for the meeting of senior officials and experts of SADC.
On the agenda: the review of the Regional Indicative Strategic Development Plan (RISDP 2020-2030), a true compass for sustainable, inclusive, and integrated development in the region.
The Malagasy delegation, led by Mr. Eric Ratsimbazafy, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is taking an active part in the discussions alongside representatives from other member states.
This meeting marks the kickoff of the preparatory work for the 45th Summit of Heads of State and Government of SADC, scheduled for August 17 in Antananarivo.
Central theme of the discussions: “Promoting industrialization, agricultural system transformation, and energy transition for a resilient SADC”
An ambitious theme, in perfect harmony with the SADC Vision 2050, the RISDP 2020-2030, and the national priorities of Madagascar.
The decisions resulting from these discussions will outline the future of the region. Madagascar takes pride in being at the heart of this regional dynamic.
