Transport
Heads of Delegation and Secretariat
As a courtesy, the Government of Madagascar will provide a dedicated transport arrangement for delegations attending the 45th Summit of SADC Heads of State and Government. This logistical support aims to ensure the smooth, secure, and comfortable movement of delegates in Antananarivo, upon arrival, during their stay, and upon departure. Transport arrangements will be determined based on the rank of the Heads of Delegation.
Shuttle service
The Government of the Republic of Madagascar will provide a dedicated shuttle service to transport delegates between the international airport, designated hotels, and official meeting/event venues. This service, operated by minivans or shuttle buses, will be available from 3 August to 18 August 2025.
Delegates travelling outside of this period are kindly requested to arrange their own transport.
Delegates staying in accommodation not designated by the organisers are kindly requested to make their own way to the designated pick-up points to access the shuttle service.
An indicative list of car rental companies is provided. Delegates may also make use of private transport services.
